Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of next-generation AI models optimized for post-silicon quantum processors.
- Define the technical roadmap for Nebula Horizon's 2026 infrastructure projects, ensuring scalability and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to bridge the gap between theoretical research and production deployment.
- Establish best practices for AI safety, ethics, and interpretability in high-stakes environments.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of continuous innovation within the R&D department.
- Present technical vision and architectural decisions to executive stakeholders and global partners.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning architecture.
- Proven experience in quantum computing research or development (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks).
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their deployment on non-traditional hardware.
- Track record of leading high-performing engineering teams through complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
