Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive technical roadmap for Project 2026, aligning architectural decisions with long-term business objectives.
- Design and oversee the implementation of a scalable, high-performance distributed system capable of handling exabyte-scale data.
- Lead a cross-functional team of senior engineers, data scientists, and product managers to drive project delivery.
- Mentor team members on best practices in code quality, system design, and cloud-native architecture.
- Drive architectural decisions that balance performance, security, and operational cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust for backend system development.
- Proven track record of building and scaling distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
