What You'll Do:
- Architectural Vision: Define the high-level technical strategy and roadmap for the Year 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- System Design: Lead the design and implementation of microservices-based architectures, focusing on cloud-native solutions and edge computing.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Technical Governance: Establish coding standards, review critical code, and ensure best practices are followed across the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Rust, Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed systems.
- AI/ML Knowledge: Experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments is highly desirable.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architectural design for the Year 2026 platform.
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud infrastructure.
- Drive technical decision-making and mentorship within the engineering squad.
- Ensure system reliability, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust cybersecurity measures.
- Conduct code reviews and architectural reviews to maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Full Stack Development and System Architecture.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- Expert knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team off-sites and client meetings.
