Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with corporate growth objectives
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present disruptive technology concepts to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and venture capital for experimental projects
- Author white papers on emerging technologies' societal impact
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (e.g., quantum applications, AGI)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants and venture capital
- Fluency in future forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of launched products/services with >$100M market impact
