Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year foresight frameworks mapping technological, social, and economic shifts through 2030
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and executive teams to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario analyses for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global innovation hubs
- Drive organizational adoption of futures-thinking methodologies across 15+ business units
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists while managing a $2M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into market-dominating products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience to Fortune 500 audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation events (e.g., Davos, SXSW)
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven trend analysis platforms
