Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic lab tests
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule patient appointments and manage office workflows
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Ensure examination rooms are stocked and sanitized
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
