Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor in-office procedures
- Manage patient records using our EMR system with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling efficiently
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a medical practice
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- CPR/BLS certification (must be current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume settings
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
