Responsibilities
- Support physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient intake documentation
- Administer injections and collect lab specimens
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Schedule patient appointments and manage communications
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
