Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic diagnostic tests
- Electronic health records management and documentation
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room cleanliness
- Patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with billing department for insurance verification
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Georgia state medical assistant license
