Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and WMS software.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and peers to ensure smooth workflow during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for specific driving duties.
