Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake assessments and vital sign monitoring during overnight hours
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and emergency interventions
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient care between departments during shift transitions
- Prepare examination rooms and medical supplies for next-day operations
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide overnight support services
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently in unsupervised overnight environments
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical software
- Valid Kentucky state healthcare provider license
