Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Monitor vital signs and document patient records accurately
- Assist emergency procedures during overnight hours
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Provide patient education on overnight care protocols
- Respond to patient calls and alarms promptly
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- New York State medical assistant license
