Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and server health during off-peak hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents and escalated tickets.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patching, and security updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and disaster recovery procedures.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and change logs.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to hand off critical issues and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
- Proficiency in managing Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
