Responsibilities

  • Monitor network traffic, server health, and application performance 24/7 during night shifts.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical technical incidents in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management and system backups.
  • Log all incidents, resolutions, and system changes into the ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira).
  • Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to hand over operational status and pending escalations.
  • Analyze trends in system alerts to proactively prevent future outages.
  • Ensure strict compliance with IT security protocols and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Help Desk support.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar).
  • Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
