Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations during the night shift, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the day shift team to ensure seamless stock rotation and order fulfillment.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Manage shift schedules, resolve conflicts, and handle emergency situations with composure and leadership.
- Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
- Conduct regular shift briefings and safety inspections to ensure clear communication and a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (able to obtain if not currently held).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a high-pressure, 24-hour environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required by business needs.
