Responsibilities
- Oversee all night shift operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the day shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct daily shift briefings and provide mentorship to night staff.
- Address operational issues immediately and implement corrective actions.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare nightly reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of improving efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and solve problems during night hours.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
