Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the night shift staff to ensure workflow efficiency and adherence to schedules.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce strict OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Manage inventory levels, oversee stock rotation processes, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and address employee concerns immediately to minimize downtime.
- Prepare daily shift reports and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Train new hires on safety protocols, machinery operation, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with day shift management to ensure seamless handovers of operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift certification (preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Proven track record of safety management and accident prevention.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
