Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately in EHR systems
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and respond to emergencies
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for overnight procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during overnight hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in patient care or healthcare setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
