Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor heavy machinery and production lines according to safety guidelines.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production targets.
- Report any machinery malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a rotating night shift schedule (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM or similar).
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret equipment gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
