Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move inventory.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves and packaging them securely.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently manage the receipt and dispatch of freight using proper lifting techniques.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read pick lists.
- License: Valid driver's license (if operating company vehicle).
