Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities during the evening and night hours to ensure maximum productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage incoming and outgoing shipments with precision.
- Staff Supervision: Lead a team of warehouse associates, conduct shift briefings, and provide mentorship and feedback.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems are in proper working order and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the night shift workflow and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work nights, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with management and peers.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
