We are looking for a results-oriented professional to manage our night operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and team productivity.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of warehouse personnel during the night shift to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring strict adherence to inventory accuracy and safety protocols.
- Conduct nightly safety inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain a zero-accident environment.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of 10-15 associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Prepare daily reports on productivity, inventory discrepancies, and staff performance for the day shift management team.
- Handle emergency situations and resolve operational issues independently during the night hours.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Proven ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM – 6 AM or similar) on a consistent basis.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Warehouse Management Software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
