Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, and shipping activities
- Train and manage 10-15 night shift team members to ensure productivity standards
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance during overnight shifts
- Optimize inventory management using WMS systems and barcode scanning
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless workflow transitions
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
