Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 night shift staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure efficient inventory control and accurate order processing through WMS systems
- Implement safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift and transportation teams
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Prepare shift reports and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma; associate degree preferred
