Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ night shift team members, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, inventory counts, and quality control checks
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for maximum efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation (forklifts, scanners, etc.)
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless transition
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 training preferred
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math and inventory management proficiency
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
