Responsibilities
- Oversee all night shift warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Train and mentor 10-15 team members on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift and logistics partners
- Manage inventory control systems and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics for management review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in 24/7 operations
- Forklift certification and experience with WMS systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and DOT regulations
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory software
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
