Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 warehouse associates during overnight shifts, directing daily operations and task assignments
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment through regular inspections and safety protocols
- Optimize inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and documentation accuracy
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers and issue resolution
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift operations
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-hours
- Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
