Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team, including scheduling and performance management
- Optimize warehouse workflows for maximum efficiency during overnight hours
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular compliance audits
- Coordinate with day-shift supervisors for seamless operations handover
- Manage inventory control systems and cycle count processes
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of shift activities and metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- OSHA certification and strong safety compliance background
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Excellent conflict resolution and team motivation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Strong analytical skills for process improvement initiatives
