Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff during overnight shifts, delegating tasks and maintaining productivity standards
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and documentation
- Implement safety protocols and OSHA compliance across all operational areas
- Train and mentor new hires on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Generate daily performance reports and KPI tracking metrics
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for operational continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation certification
- Proven leadership skills with team development experience
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong analytical abilities for inventory management and process optimization
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
