Responsibilities
- Oversee 8-10 member night shift team, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift supervisors for seamless transitions
- Implement safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
- Train and mentor new team members on operational procedures
- Resolve operational issues using data-driven problem-solving approaches
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics for management review
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training required
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills for shift handoffs and team coordination
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
