Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team with daily task delegation and performance monitoring
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols for material handling equipment operations
- Optimize inventory management systems using SAP and WMS platforms
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with shipping/receiving and quality control teams
- Conduct shift handovers with detailed documentation of operational metrics
- Train staff on new equipment and process improvements
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries regarding order status and delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training completion
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership skills
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with labor law compliance and union environments (preferred)
