Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 night shift employees, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory operations including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational transitions
- Resolve immediate operational issues and escalate complex problems
- Prepare nightly productivity reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience
- OSHA certification and forklift operation license required
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
