Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 night shift team members, ensuring optimal productivity and safety compliance
- Oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, and dock operations during overnight shifts
- Implement process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency by 15%
- Conduct pre-shift safety briefings and enforce OSHA/OSHA standards
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handoffs
- Generate daily performance reports and address staffing needs proactively
- Train new hires on warehouse systems and material handling equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in 3PL or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Forklift certification and ability to operate heavy machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
- Flexibility to adjust to changing operational priorities
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred
