Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 night shift associates in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, and shipping
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Train and mentor team members on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Coordinate with day shift leadership for seamless handovers and operational continuity
- Resolve escalated customer service issues and maintain quality standards
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse leadership experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company test)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work 10 PM - 6 AM with weekend rotations
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
