Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 person night shift team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Optimize warehouse operations for overnight efficiency, including inventory audits and order processing
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all shift activities
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift managers and logistics partners
- Utilize WMS systems (SAP/JDA) for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost reduction
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift background
- OSHA certification and forklift operation proficiency (certification required)
- Advanced proficiency in warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, or JDA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
