Responsibilities
- Oversee 8-12 person night shift team, including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse organization systems
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for operational handover and workflow continuity
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain accident-free work environment
- Optimize loading/unloading processes for incoming/outgoing shipments
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, WMS systems)
- Generate daily performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10/30 hour training preferred
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
