Responsibilities
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments for federal contracts and priority logistics
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with precision and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems in real-time
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for just-in-time deliveries
- Implement quality control measures for high-value government shipments
- Train on OSHA compliance and emergency response procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail in documentation processes
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Experience with federal shipping regulations
