Responsibilities
- Manage 10-15 night shift team members, ensuring safety protocols and operational efficiency
- Coordinate inventory control, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for overnight processing
- Investigate and resolve operational bottlenecks during off-peak hours
- Train staff on new equipment and procedures during low-traffic periods
- Maintain accurate records of nightly operations and incident reports
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors for seamless handover processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with night shift supervision
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities for overnight operational challenges
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift coordination
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
