Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional in-person customer service through product knowledge, active listening, and solution-oriented support
- Process transactions accurately using our digital POS system while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Collaborate with visual merchandising team to maintain store displays and product presentation standards
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process returns/exchanges, and resolve customer inquiries with professionalism
- Contribute to inventory management through stock checks, replenishment, and cycle counting procedures
- Support store operations through opening/closing duties, safety compliance, and loss prevention protocols
- Participate in team training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse customer demographics
- Proficiency with digital POS systems and basic retail software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (including Sundays)
- High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in college programs encouraged
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid California driver's license preferred for occasional inventory runs
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory reconciliation
