Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist end-users via phone, email, and chat with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor local area networks to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of office computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage all IT help desk tickets in our ticketing system efficiently.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions for staff regarding software applications and security protocols.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment status within the San Antonio office.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems; knowledge of networking concepts is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Availability: Ability to work a part-time schedule, including some weekends or evenings as needed.
