As a key member of our team, you'll create memorable shopping experiences while supporting our vibrant Austin community. No prior retail experience required – we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success. Walk-in interviews are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM at our flagship location on South Congress Avenue.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized assistance and product recommendations
- Process transactions accurately using our modern POS system while maintaining cash handling security
- Merchandise and maintain visually appealing store displays according to brand standards
- Support inventory management processes including stock receiving and organization
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals
- Participate in store events and promotions that showcase Austin's unique culture
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout all customer and staff areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; current college students welcome
- Strong communication skills with a passion for Austin's local community
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Reliable transportation to our South Congress location
- Eagerness to learn retail operations and customer service best practices
- Must be able to attend walk-in interviews during scheduled times
