Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are organized, clean, and properly priced.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
- Keep the sales floor and restrooms clean, organized, and safe for all shoppers.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, hours of operation, and services.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and store objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
