Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming store environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Organize and merchandise products on the sales floor to maintain a clean, appealing, and safe shopping area.
- Stock inventory and restock shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product details, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle returns and exchanges with accuracy and courtesy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes (up to 25 lbs) and reaching shelves.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable attendance and a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.
- Proficiency with computers and handheld devices (tablet experience preferred).
