Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Organize and maintain merchandise displays to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and performing regular stock counts.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Clean and organize the sales floor, restrooms, and break areas to meet company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
