Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is clean and visually appealing.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Support promotional activities and assist in maintaining sales targets.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict accuracy and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
