Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations
- Collect specimens and perform basic lab procedures
- Administer EKGs and assist with diagnostic testing
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians on patient care plans
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA or PCT certification
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- 1+ years healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with assistance
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
