Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum-optimized neural networks

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum theory with practical implementations
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing and AI ethics

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using IBM Q or Rigetti systems
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction techniques
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
