Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates through Nexus Dynamics' Quantum Fellowship Program
- Contribute to ISO quantum computing standards committees
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on hardware platforms
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with HPC experience
- Clearance for DOE quantum security protocols
- Track record of translating theoretical models to scalable implementations
