You'll publish breakthrough research in Nature Quantum, contribute to open-source quantum frameworks, and shape the ethical guidelines for AI-quantum integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for AI training acceleration and inference
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and quantum-enhanced NLP
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for AI workloads
- Author peer-reviewed publications and whitepapers on quantum AI convergence
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Secure NSF and DARPA grants for quantum AI research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Demonstrated experience with quantum annealers and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing research funding or industry innovation awards
