Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Lead R&D in quantum error correction for neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles
- Develop patentable algorithms for 2026 commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum
- Published work in top-tier conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Experience with superconducting/ion-trap quantum processors
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum machine learning
- Ability to translate complex concepts to executive stakeholders
